::: Aalborg+10 2004

In June 2004, the City of Aalborg hosted the Aalborg + 10 Conference 'Inspiring Futures'. 932 participants found their way to Aalborg on the 9th to 12th June 2004. It showed that sustainable development remains a work in progress at the local level all over Europe. However, the strong backing for the Aalborg Commitments was a welcome boost to enhance the range, level, creativity and focus of activity.
