The Campaign international conferences are an important mechanism for exchanging ideas, raising the issue of sustainability within the political agenda, assessing the current situation and discussing further goals and activities of the Campaign. The responsibility for the organisation of Campaign conferences and events is often assumed by the host city and a number of other organisers.

The Campaign partners are involved in the preparation through conference preparatory committees, contributions to conference programmes and by ensuring the engagement of their members. All Campaign conferences and events are therefore communal undertakings.
